MAI-EVP, Chief Appraiser Commercial Real Estate
Talani joined CES in April of 2018 as a Contractor Commercial Review Appraiser and was recently promoted to Chief Appraiser due to her vast knowledge of appraisal and excellent personal skills in client interaction. Talani has more than 19 years of experience as a Commercial Real Estate Appraiser and is a Member of the Appraisal Institute from which she holds the MAI designation.
Talani now oversees the everyday processes of the Commercial Appraisal Ordering and Review Department for more than 50 financial institutions. Her experience and knowledge of regulatory guidelines has significantly been enhanced since joining CES while working under Larry Woodall’s direct supervision and guidance. Talani now has strong knowledge of FIRREA in regard to Sections 1101-1122, which pertains specifically to Appraisals and Evaluations. Furthermore, Talani has personally performed commercial real estate appraisals and appraisal reviews throughout the United States on a variety of complex and simple property types, and her experience is considered by our clients as “invaluable.”
Talani has completed more than 560 hours of continuing education as a commercial appraiser, and she has expert knowledge and understanding of USPAP, FIRREA and the Interagencies Appraisal and Evaluation Guidelines.
Talani obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Kennesaw State University in 1998, and although a native of the State of Florida, she has resided in Atlanta since 1995. Talani is also a licensed commercial real estate broker and a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors and is also a Rotary Club member.
